This September, the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize & Hardin Counties (MHRSB AAH) and Prevention Awareness Support Services (PASS) are bringing important prevention messages to local high school football games.

Special footballs featuring Overdose Awareness and Problem Gambling prevention messaging will be distributed at three local football games throughout the month.

Where to Find the Footballs

September 11 Kenton vs. Elida @ Kenton

September 18 St. Mary’s vs. Wapakoneta @ St. Mary’s

September 18 Allen East vs. LCC @ Allen East

Why Bring Prevention to the Football Field?

Prevention is most effective when important information is part of the communities where people live, work, learn and gather.

The footballs provide a fun and visible way to share messages about Overdose Awareness and Problem Gambling while creating opportunities for conversations about prevention.

Whether you're attending a game, supporting a student-athlete or spending time with family and friends, we hope you'll keep an eye out for the special footballs — and help us pass along the message.

Prevention Is a Team Effort

MHRSB AAH and PASS are proud to partner with local communities to promote awareness and prevention.

Sometimes, an important conversation starts with something as simple as a message on a football.

Look for the footballs this September and help us pass along the message!
