Something special is coming to our community this September.
This Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, the Allen, Auglaize, & Hardin Counties Suicide Prevention Coalition is launching 25 Find Your Anchor Boxes throughout our community.
So, what is a Find Your Anchor Box?
It's a little blue box filled with reminders of hope, encouragement, resources, and things that can help someone feel a little less alone.
The boxes may be placed in libraries, coffee shops, community spaces, parks, and other locations throughout our three counties - or they may be given directly to someone who needs a reminder that someone cares.
You may find one when you least expect it.
If you find one, take a moment ot open it, explore it, and know this:
Someone cares about you. You are not alone.
Keep it. Share it. Add your own anchor. Or pass it along to someone who needs it.
