PASS Summer Youth Program

PASS’s Summer Pathway Program is a way for high school students grades 9 -12 to explore professions in the mental health field this summer. Participants in the program will have the opportunity to observe what area mental health professionals do on a day-to-day basis through job shadowing. Do to covid-19 precautions on-site college visits won’t be possible this year but, college representatives will be meeting virtually to discuss college path options and financial aid. Volunteering options and capstone projects are also explored.

PASS started offering this program last summer and received a lot of positive feedback. When covid-19 struck in March of this year, they were concerned that they may not be able to offer it this summer. But, with some restrictions being lifted and with much planning from the PASS staff they are happy to announce that they program can go on this summer with all safety precautions taking place.

The program will run Mondays thru Thursdays from July 6th to August 6th, 2020. Participants can sign up to meet in one of the four PASS served counties of Union, Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin. Added Bonus – each participant will earn $20.00 per day!

Students can find details on applying for this opportunity by going to our "Events" page.
