I’m excited to share that I’ve officially accepted the role of Executive Director of Prevention Awareness Support Services (PASS)!

When I first entered the prevention field seven years ago, I never imagined where this journey would lead. What started as a passion for helping others and working with youth has grown into a calling to serve our communities, support our youth and families, and work alongside some truly incredible people who care deeply about making a difference.

Over the years, I’ve been blessed with amazing mentors, coworkers, community partners, and friends who have encouraged me, challenged me, and helped me grow. Every experience, both the successes and the challenges, has prepared me for this opportunity, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I’m especially thankful for Donna Dickman and Rick Skilliter, former Executive Directors, for seeing, in me, the potential to lead and for mentoring me through the years.  I am grateful to the PASS Board of Directors for their confidence in me and for giving me the opportunity to lead an organization whose mission means so much to me, and of course I appreciate our staff and my family for always believing in me, cheering me on, and supporting me through every new adventure.

As I step into this role, I am fully aware that I have big shoes to fill.  I know there will be challenges, but I also see so much opportunity. I look forward to strengthening partnerships, supporting our exceptional staff, and continuing to build on the work that PASS has already been doing for so many years.  We will continue to create healthier, stronger communities.

In the coming years, my goal is to deepen our reach so that more individuals and families have access to prevention resources, and strengthen our collaboration with schools and community organizations. I am committed to fostering a culture of innovation and accountability within our organization, and using data and community feedback to guide our efforts. I am confident that we can continue making a meaningful impact across the communities we serve.

I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey.

Here’s to the next chapter!

We invite our community partners, schools, families, and supporters to join us as we begin this exciting new chapter for PASS.
