Mental Health Career Pathways Summer Program for Youth!

In PASS's Mental Health Career Pathway Work Based Summer Learning Program, high school teens (grades 9 - 12, and recent high school grads) will earn money while learning about careers in the mental health field.

This is the third year that Prevention Awareness Support Services has been able to offer this summer program to area students. Students can earn $20 per day to attend this five-week program that explores careers in the Mental Health fields.

Guest speakers from a variety of social work and mental health agencies give students a glimpse of what it's like to work in their professions. Depending on current COVID restrictions, students are taken on college tours and explore financial aid options. And of course, there are plenty of fun and games!

This year, the program will be held in Allen, Auglaize, Hardin, Union, and Van Wert (including Mercer and Paulding students) counties.

If you would like the opportunity to take part in any of these county's programs, visit our Events page and fill out an application!

Lucy Flowers, School Based Director (lflowers@passaah.org) or Beth Miller, Associate Director (bmiller@passaah.org) can be contacted with any questions.
